Is this seller/server certification course approved by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission?

How long is this course?

Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to immediately download an electronic copy of your certificate of completion. The American Safety Council will also report your course completion to the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission.

Is there a final exam?

Yes, in requirements with the state of Texas, you need to pass with a score of 70% or higher. To help you successfully complete the exam, we will give you questions throughout the material to help refresh and prepare for the final.

I need a replacement seller/server card, how do I get one?

The Texas TABC website contains a link where you can print proof of certification that will contain the issue date, expiration date, certificate number, status, name and date of birth for an individual.

What else do I need besides this course to become TABC certified?

There are no additional requirements to become certified and there are no age minimum requirements to complete this course.

How long is seller training certification valid?

The seller/server certification you obtain from this course is valid for two years from the date it is issued.

What do I need to do when my TABC Certification expires?

You must complete this course every two years to maintain your certification.

What is the difference between a TABC Certification and a TABC License/Permit?

Licenses and permits are issued to businesses and not Sellers/Servers.
